Tangeni Kambudu (b. 1987) is an artist from Namibia currently based in Cape Town. His series of carefully etched mirrors engages the viewer at various points of self-reflection and disembodiment. Rather than impart themselves, these sculptural works are attentive to subtle fluctuations of identity and emotion.

Formerly a fashion designer, Kambudu presented his first solo body of work at the Association for Visual Arts in Cape Town. Kambudu’s work was selected for exhibition at Visual Arts Festival Zanzibar (2019), Sasol New Signatures (2019), the Swiss Art Expo in Zurich (2019) and Forward? Forward! Forward… at Stellenbosch University Museum (2019)
