Georgina Gratrix
One of South Africa’s most avant-garde new female painters, Gratrix’s work has recently been acquired by the contemporary painting
collection of the South African National Gallery. She was recently invited by the prestigious Rijk’s Academy in Amsterdam to attend
their final series of applicant interviews. Currently working in studio towards her next solo exhibition scheduled for the first half of 2010, Gratrix has also been selected for a three month residency at the TAKT program in Berlin.
