Zander Blom
Zander Blom was born in Pretoria in 1982 and currently lives in Johannesburg. Working as an artist since 2002, Zander’s physical output includes painting, drawing, printmaking, installation and photography (primarily as a means to document the development of his physical works).
His work has been exhibited locally and internationally in both solo and group exhibitions. Zander’s first book, “The Drain of Progress” - a Catalogue Raisonné, was launched on 20 September 2007 along with a major exhibition in December 2007. It was named by frieze Magazine as one of ‘the most internationally significant solo exhibitions of 2007 (Jan / Feb ‘07 Issue).’
